Here's the link to the supposed "fact check": https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/factcheck/2021/05/20/fact-check-pfizer-moderna-j-j-tested-covid-19-vaccines-animals/5162426001/
I have no interest in taking any of these vaccines, but I want to avoid spreading falsehoods. I've been seeing some concerning posts that animal trials were skipped for the three major COVID vaccines. But this MSM "fact check" disputes this. Anyone have any more information? Is USAToday lying its ass off ??
Again, I'm avoiding these vaccines, but I want to make sure the info I share with my friends and family who have not taken the vaccine yet is accurate and legit.
I'd like to see the scientific article which said that.
I've found this one:
https://jvi.asm.org/content/78/22/12672.abstract
Which was an mRNA vaccine experiment for the SARS-1 virus, using ferrets. After being vaccinated, the ferrets had severe organ damage upon re-infection of the SARS-1 virus. I couldn't find where it said that the ferrets actually died though. That could be because of the medical jargon and/or having only skimmed the article.
I've also heard that they tested an mRNA vaccine on cats of some sort, for the MERS virus I think, and those tests supposedly also didn't go well. Haven't seen the scientific article to back it up, though.
Thanks. Good to know
