I’m an older man and have witnessed a lot of people and their regrets. Generally it’s just people whining and commiserating. No matter their choices they would have lived in regret. It’s their annoying and pathetic personality. But realizing at seventy why you needed to have or adopt kids is what they call a real and practical regret. A massively huge miscalculation.

That being said, if you’re a man, get some experience in before settling down. Experience is king and will give you perspective and appreciation for what is truly of value in this world.
