I hoped so, but some of the big whoppers make no impact. Because there is this VERY strong programming that when people do the wrong thing it is incompetence and not malevolence and we give them the benefit of the doubt.
Although putting profoundly incompetent people in power like Mazie Hirono or Maxine Waters IS malevolence.
The problem is when people encounter real malevolence, they cannot possibly recognize it because they see the honest failings of their parents and friends and neighbors instead of the truth, which appears to literally be a small group of Lucifer worshippers trying to exterminate humanity.
If the brain isn’t willing to work with a small shift in reality, the bigger ones are way too intimidating.
