In the name of "saving the planet" (climate change), and, if they have their great reset (such that many people wouldn't be able to say "no"), it could happen. Plenty has to go wrong for that first, though.
I imagine said bugs would be ground into a paste with some flavouring, to create less resistance.
Given that they're the type of people who are more prone to go with whatever is told, guess they'll get used it to. Maybe it would be advertized something like "while your veganism does help with climate change, bugism would help more".
Maybe if the Japanese come with some beetle surimi I shall give it a try. Thai grilled flour worms where not that bad,IMHO. But then, a few year ago, I remember some Croats came with some earthworms based « meat » which was told to be convincing and nutritiously virtuous.
I'm certain this is a New World Order psychological experiment to see how much bullshit they can get away with.
I suspect their goal is to try to make us eat bugs just so they can laugh at us and congratulate each other for being God's chosen master race.
