Look up when the Pentagon shut down "LifeLog" project to collect data and build profiles of people and look when Facebook came up which resulted in the same thing.

ah, I remember hearing that. definitely sketchy. I do think that in some/many cases people who become successful organically get corrupted by the DS eventually though.
