- Get sick from it
- Pass it on to others
- Still die from it
That is NOT herd immunity. Period.

Agreed. Getting an injection that does not make the person immune obviously will not help achieve herd immunity - but sheeple and NPC's are not very bright. They prove it by their actions.
The real question at this point remains: what exactly is the purpose of those injections? They do nothing beneficial that we know of, so what are they for?
Related to that is the question of why the DS is pushing, bribing and coercing as many sheeple as possible to get the injections... I really wish I knew the answers to those questions.
I think your fears about "why" are both justified and match up to your worst assumptions. There is nothing good about the shot and there would be no reason to push this fast since the "pandemic" is nearly over anyway. Quotes because it never was a pandemic and only about 10K Americans died of it (by PCR confirmation only, which is highly inaccurate and not intended to detect COVID).
It's all a sham. The shot is no less a sham than the release of the virus into the wild, the global fear mongering, the unnecessary economic and other harms to people from lockdowns, etc. I'm not even sure the shot was the goal. The result of the shot through harm to recipients and by shedding to those who did not was the goal. These bastards need to pay by firing squad, hanging, or lethal injection following tribunal. This was the worst assault on humanity in history once the body counts start climbing in coming years.
