I’m at the dentist without a mask and I feel free. The doctor and dentist were the only places that I had previously followed their silly rule. But I’m fucking done now. No more face diapers restricting my oxygen. There’s one other rebel here and a couple of Karen’s giving me “the look” but so far no one has said anything.

I received a check from a estate auction and went to bank to cash it, around here the masks are lifted if you’ve been “vaccinated” so I walk in maskless and all the bank employees have masks on except one young pretty. My turn and I get her, she has to call the check issuers and verify that check is legit since it’s over a certain amount and I don’t have a account there. At the end of our transaction she said she appreciates my patience and I reply loudly “ I appreciate you not wearing a mask” — out of a dozen people only 3 of us were maskless.
I worked at a bank as a personal banker when all of this began. We closed our lobby except by appointment and we would have to put a mask on when someone was sitting at our desks. Then they changed the rule to mask all day, every day even when you are by yourself at your desk, sitting yards away from anyone, behind a locked door. I told my boss this is asinine and has no logic. Then I found another job with a great company that I can work from home and quit that stupidity.
