Ooo you read a report from cnn, you’re real informed. I literally live here and have seen the floodplain maps along with the camp in person. The news has fully lied about the floodplain along the river around the camp. So yes, you fell for the propaganda. The irony that you provide a cnn link (known propaganda) while saying you didn’t is hilarious.
I’m laughing at your great food comment about Kerrville. The running joke here is that it’s the worst town for a foodie because there’s so few decent restaurants. 😆
You near Wimberley? My mom had a shop downtown that was destroyed in ‘98. We lived in Lockhart at the time, it was terrible.
You fell for the propaganda. 119 people died last summer. Many of their lives could have been saved if Greg Abbott and Dan Patrick approved funding for sirens like they promised after the Blanco river flood. But they went back on that because it was “too expensive.” They don’t want people to know that though so instead, they made Dick Eastland (rip) the bad guy and made up so much shit about him and his family to convince ignorant keyboard warriors from far away that that’s who you should be mad at. Only 27 of the 119 deaths were campers, what about the other 92? And camp mystic was never trying to reopen the Guadalupe river location where those girls died. They tried to open the cypress lake location that wasn’t affected by the flood at all, last year or this year. The camp mystic tragedy was awful, as was the rest of Kerr County. But make no mistake, if Greg Abbott and Dan Patrick actually did what they promised, those girls quite possibly would still be alive, as would many of my neighbors.
I live here. I saw it in person both times. I provided the picture for y’all to reference, not for me. In 2025, rain sat on the headwaters of the Guadalupe river near Hunt and turned it into a monster that came down so hard and fast and I’m lucky I survived. Everything along the river was destroyed. This week, the rain sat on Kerrville and overflowed all the creeks that flow into the river, destroying homes and businesses in town along the creeks. I still have panic attacks when I hear a helicopter because of the weeks of helicopter search and rescue operations that went on in 2025. The pictures are not the same, they are from a year apart. Some trees have stayed the same, at least the ones that survived. Most of the trees are at a permanent angle or are gone entirely.
This is becoming a cartoon.
This poll does not reflect the people in my life. Everyone in my family voted for Trump. And most of us disapprove of the bullshit with Iran.
We’re all agreed that Erika is Mossad honeypot right?
Those numbers aren’t final. And I’ve heard it’s 25 girls missing. I live here. As I type this, I’m literally hearing choppers over my house right now searching the river near me for these girls and others. There have been over 700 girls evacuated from camp mystic and thousands more from the other camps nearby. The fact that these numbers are so low is a miracle. Like I commented on another post, this is the 100 year flood that we know will happen and pray it doesn’t happen while we’re here. I 100% believe in weather manipulation and I 100% don’t believe that was in play here. I’ve lived in central Texas my entire life, unfortunately this is part of living on the river.
Not everything on the mainstream media is fake. Do they lie a lot? Definitely. But they have to tell enough truth for people to still listen to them. And they are definitely telling the truth about this.
It’s not fishy. The summer camps out in Hunt are beautiful but very remote. This is the 100 year flood that we know will happen eventually but pray it’s not when we’re here. They successfully evacuated over 700 campers from camp mystic and thousands more from the other camps. The loss of these girls is devastating, but it’s a miracle that number isn’t higher.
Because it is. Over 20 confirmed dead and around 100 missing. This is a river town with a huge Fourth of July festival and countless summer camps. There were so many people here camping or in rv’s that aren’t from here and don’t know how serious flash flooding is. The river rose 25 ft in 45 minutes.
My neighborhood is right next to that campground. We got evacuation orders at 4:30 am. I don’t know where anyone from the campground went but I saw a lot of rv’s parked at Walmart so I’m hoping most of them got out. I saw the first responders and the choppers though, I know not everyone survived.
I live here. I don’t need the media. It’s real. And it’s devastating.
I haven't been a fan of her since she partnered up with Armstrong and played a part in breaking up his marriage. I still lived in Austin back then and met his wife, she was a lovely lady. Armstrong and Crow are awful people, her opinion is meaningless.
I understand the concerns regarding her previous ties to big pharma. Something I have seen in recent years though is a shift in thinking from older generations around the medical industry. This is a generation of people who had every reason to trust the medical and pharmaceutical industry. It’s taking them a little longer to open their eyes because that is a lot of deprogramming, but they are. My in laws are in their 70’s and they went out and got the Johnson and Johnson vax because they trust their doctor and he suggested it. They have recently acknowledged that they wouldn’t get it knowing what they know now. I am hopeful she is someone who falls in to that category.
Man I’m so glad he’s getting his vindication. This man tried to open our eyes long before it was popular. He definitely got me to start digging.
Sounds like a wise choice.
They’re calling him as the winner now on rsbn. AP still has him sitting at 247. They’re so sad, they don’t want to report it.
Not just you, I got an error message when I tried to reload this page. Finally working now.
And they refuse to call Georgia or Pennsylvania.
I thought this was common knowledge. The king has no actual authority when it comes to lawmaking. But he owns a lot of land so he’s basically a government subsidized glorified landlord.
Except they don’t, there are obvious similarities because they are the same tress and the picture is taken from the same spot. But you can zoom and notice differences in the details.
