My grandma was far from a feminist ? the real freaks were the baby boomers, those damn hippies...granted you had some weirdos before but it really was the sexual revolution that started screwing women over and blurring the lines of gender roles. I considered myself a feminist as a young woman, but I didn’t understand what true feminism was. Rush Limbaugh taught me a lot. Women have important roles men can not replace just as women can not replace men. Doesn’t mean we can’t be tough when we need to. Mama bear for sure.
That’s really cool, I think being a mom is the most important job a woman has. How we raise our children impacts every aspect of our world. Not discounting dads at all but I firmly believe in the nurturing power of mothers. I always think of war and how there are stories of soldiers crying for their mothers.
