Being that he’s been practicing his evil craft for, literally, decades and all while lying to the world, any (sic) ‘apologies’ he may offer would simply be words used by him to save his own skin.

Whatever fate God has for him is between God and him. What I would like to see from him is just a confession of the facts - for the benefit of the sheep. Any show of contrition he would display (for mercy) will be contrived and not heartfelt, simply an act. That beast doesn’t have a soul, imho.
