The issue I have with this, as damning as is may seem at first glance, is that it gives them an excuse to build a narrative off of this.

Sorry, but there is zero chance this was an accident and we can't let this be swept under the rug. Fauci predicted a "surprise" outbreak during the Trump admin. Gates funded Event 201. The Great Reset. Etc etc etc.. We're well beyond the point of "how many coincidences before it's mathematically impossible?"
