I was immediately treated differently by the staff. The same people I see everyday were now just plain cold. Not mean to me, just cold, like they were scared.
You want to know what was really interesting?
The trans kid was the only one who was nice to me. That really stuck out to me.
The only person who knew what it was like to be an outcast from society was the only one who treated me like a normal person.
Let that sink in.
Edit: The real win here is the fact that a trans person broke from the liberal hive mind. Stop losing your cool over the word "Starbucks" and look at the real meat here.
Let me tell you something, companies that "love" you, hate you too.
Mission BBQ is a good example. Paytriots for sure. Look at their image and be shocked they dont do military discounts.
Everything is about a companies bottom line, just like politicians. We're numbers. If liberals bought the Hell out of Black Rifle, you know you'd start seeing little nods to them when sales dropped.
If Trump is still drinking and buying Coke for his properties, Im not going to sweat about Starbucks. I go out of my way in many ways to stick it to the system, and the Lord (and unfortunately Google) knows it.
Its pretty crazy that I get attacked for going to Starbucks, instead of people noticing the content of this post. A trans person breaking from the liberal hive. This is a win, brother!
Frankly, business has no business getting interested in politics.
IOW, I can live with the ambivalence of a profit motive, but Starbucks is effectively antagonistic to our existence.
That said; I also need my coffee fix and if Starbucks was the only reasonable option, you better believe I would be topping off my cup there too. (Point is the cumulative effort to minimize giving them money hurts them, but our individual decision has little impact).
As for the lefty gender ambiguous person waking up, that is a great field report that is growing more common.
