I've never been an assertive or forward person, but I may have to put my foot down with something that has come up. I invited a dear friend (ex-neighbor) to visit us at our new home (been here two years already, but never had a chance to have her over before). She is 70+ and said she feels safe in small crowds and is fully vaccinated.
Man. I hate to disinvite her, but if protein shedding is a real thing, I'd rather not have her visit and I will tell her as much.
Is it something to really be concerned about?
I was worried about the same thing, so I asked my doctor yesterday. He said he got vaccinated in Dec. 2020 and this doctor has touched me for the last 5 months every 2 weeks. I have neck and arm pain where it pulls my bones out. So he touches my neck and shoulders without gloves and I have never had covid. He got the Phizer one.
Ok. That helps! Thanks!
