If that does happen is this technically his second term and he can’t run against despite losing a year? Or is it like when a president is replaced due to death, so Trump could run again?
We have to remember that the current constitution of the USA corporation will be null and void and will be replaced by the constitution as it was in place in 1871. This had a bunch of benefits, including no presidential term limits, no federal income tax, no DC presidential electors, and no overbearing federal requirement that women be allowed to vote and ruin elections going forward.

At this point and time. Trump could make new rules. And if he wanted to run again he could. It is not unheard of a President with 3 terms.
