The actress playing HRC was despondent at being outshone by the actor playing Bill.

The actor playing Bill was doing the charismatic / magnetic Bill routine, which would have been appropriate for the Bill of 10-20 years ago. The last time I saw the real Bill Clinton, he was drooling at Ariana Grande at A Franklin's funeral, due to both lust and old age.
