I have nothing but respect for all vets, but those that fought in Vietnam always get an extra thank you or more than one beer on me when I'm out.
None of them deserved that liberal-induced shitshow they faced when they came home. If I were a judge, I would have turned a blind eye to any Vet beating the living fucking daylights out of any of that liberal garbage that said or threw anything at them.
Many of those men carry around some horrifying mental scars. Coming home to a hostile, liberal media, duplicitous liberal politicians, and skinny, cowardly, trust fund communist terrorists made things a lot worse.
I wouldn't piss on traitors like John Kerry, John 'Songbird' McCain, or Jane Fonda if they were on fire. I'd grab a bag of popcorn and laugh while they burn for what they did to our troops. It is insane that those three live/lived a life of luxury while many troops fight a war in their heads to this day. May those three and anyone like them rot in hell for eternity ... Fucking useless meat carcasses.
Dad was drafted in 63, served 2 yrs Stateside, and got out. I am fully convinced he has survivors guilt (he said his unit got sent over later and as he put it 'got slashed to ribbons') it's an unwritten rule in our house not to mention those names you mentioned around him.
The only time or two I’ve ever seen my dad cry hard, like ugly face cry, was at the Vietnam Memorial. He was in Turkey during Vietnam when he was in the Air Force. But he had a LOT of friends and others he knew that fell in Nam. I’ll never forget being a kid maybe 10 years old and touring DC, having a blast learning and soaking in the history and monuments and then coming to the Vietnam Memorial and me and my mom and brother hanging back and watching my dad look for his friends names. That was 31 years ago. My dad passed in 2019 before all this Covid bullshit and everything and on one hand I’m glad he didn’t have to witness all this but on the other, I need him now more than ever. I digress but this made me think of him and that moment in my life. Thanks fren. God bless you and God bless the USA and those who fell protecting her and us. ?????
Some people think it’s ‘cool’ being a Vet. Some think that it’s shameful. I believe that it’s an absolute honor to be an American Veteran. I have been a Patriot since I was a kid. I must have played War hundreds of times with friends and family. We absolutely torched German Nazi’s, Japanese soldiers, North Vietnamese and the VC, Russians, etc. Then came the day that I enlisted in the United States Army. A lifelong dream to become a fifth generation dogface soldier and I wouldn’t trade it for all the gold that used to be at Fort Knox. I’m now a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and couldn’t be more proud. Memorial Day is a tough day for some of us but we’ve been entrusted with the keys to this great nation and we veterans don’t take that responsibility lightly. These filthy communist libfuks have NO IDEA of what will happen to them should we have to start putting lead down range.
The greatest honor I've had was serving the ideals of our Nation. It would be wonderful if we all actually got to live them finally. That I've essentially spent my entire life at war is now reality. For all of us. It's time after over 240 years for America to finally be free.

Sorry for the rant.
