I’ve seen multiple farmers in the flyover states talking about how the government is going to farmers and offering them 1.5x the value of their crops if they destroy the crops.
In Nebraska they are trying to take millions of acres of farmland for “climate change” purposes. The people are refusing to sell but due to eminent domain the government could succeed.
This coincides with China and Bill Gates both buying up massive amounts of land in the United States.
The question is why they want all these shortages
Again, farmers are in it for the long haul. They know how to treat their land to grow sustainably for generations. They don't need a bunch of suits telling them how much land they can plant on.
That's from 2019. I very clearly said during the pandemic.

I grew up on a farm, and I grow food. Don't judge me or lecture me. The problem with this kind of solution to a non-existent problem is it's a foot in the door, or a slippery slope. The government can bribe farmers WITH OUR MONEY to not grow food. Who decides by how much? I don't trust politicians whatsoever, and we're basically giving them power to regulate the food supply.
Bill Gates and Bezos during the scamdemic bought up a lot of land and are now the largest land owners. You have to connect the dots past the "official" reasoning
