I'm a Unix/network admin... a VPN and or a different DNS server will fix 95% of this stuff. They have to go full China and block IP traffic at the border routers to really stop anything. Even then its possible to get around most of it. The whole point of the design of IP is to make it hard to stop.

I think the whole point is, in a free world we should not have to jump hoops to communicate freely.
Its proof we don't live in a free world...
