Of course there is something that can be done. SUE them to oblivion. If you have a medical condition, that would mean you'd be protected by the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act.) If you have a disability, stores are supposed to accomodate you. They didn't. In fact, they even harmed and humiliated you. There are lawyers willing to take on this type of case pro-bono. Do a search and also check the America's Frontline Doctors website for more info on your legal rights. Whatever you decide, please DO something. People being 'nice' and letting this type of thing go is what has led to this mess with our rights being taken away and abused. Don't let that continue! You have a case here. Good luck!
I just wanted to let You know. I’ve contacted front line doctors legal team and will be hearing back from them in a week or so
Excellent. Good for you and thank you for telling me. It's good to know your options. You don't have to move forward on a lawsuit if you ultimately decide you don't want to. But having the relevant information will make it easier for you to determine your way forward. Honestly, I can't believe what some businesses have been getting away with. It might be harder for little mom and pop shops to know all the intricacies of law (still no excuse) but a big company / corporation like this has zero excuse. ZERO. So good luck as always and again, please keep us informed. We are rooting for you.
