Without commenting on operations at its plants, JBS said the incident may delay certain transactions with customers and suppliers.
This is another article trying to induce panic. The actual operation of the plants would not be impacted. The machinery is controlled by local hardware/software, not networked applications. Their corporate financial and inventory system is probably not directly impacted, but because it is accessed through the network they can’t use it, hence financial transactions being impacted. The question is how long will they be willing to operate without access to their finance and inventory system?
