Look under "Methods" and subsection "intervirion fusion." This looks to me like an analog of the many repeated protocols we see daily. Someone, perhaps at Upend, was telling Fauci "I know how you put the spike protein in, it worked like this," not "I have inside info from Wuhan lab."
