They will do this to prove that he didn't just win all the states but also got the popular vote by a HUGE margin in every state, so as to kill any state VS popular vote bullshit.

Very much the right mentality, not just 'enough' but as far beyond enough as it is possible to get, making sure they're not just beaten down but ground into a sludgy substance as there is no such thing as too much overkill...
