Trump is a man exceedingly careful with his words. For everyone trying to make excuses for him, stop. Trump believes the vaccines are safe and recommends we take them. He has said so full stop. There was never even a hint of equivocation in his statements. Look how clever he was responding to questions about whether he would run again in 2024. If he wanted to play word games about the vaccine, and appear to support it while also allowing for his supporters to assume the opposite interpretation, he would have done so.
Right or wrong, Trump is pro vaccine. It isn't because it is the lesser of 2 evils. He isn't being forced to say this due to circumstance. Listen to how he speaks about it. He fully supports it. Take that to mean what you will, but either we are wrong or he is. He accepts that it is our choice not to listen to him, but he doesn't agree with us.
Honestly, I don't know what that means, and I can't reconcile this in my own mind. But I still won't be taking the jab. I believe Trump is simply wrong on this one. It would seem he is proud of what he accomplished with Operation Warp Speed, and wants everyone to participate. The only thing I can think of is that he knows there is an antidote to this spiked protein toxin already available, and will introduce it as soon as all this silliness is over.
If that isn't true, then I am completely at a loss for any other logical explanation. I can't deny the truth simply because I wish to, but at the same time I find it baffling.
