One big problem with the lot number data, though, is that it's full of typos, mixed upper and lower case, letters instead of numbers. Some of them say Moderna when it's a Pfizer lot number, some of them have extra info in the lot number field.
The number of unknown ones is like 10x the rest of them. I started working on that a while ago for a new video with current data, but haven't looked at it recently.
Some states relied heavily on using the feds Vaccine Administration Management System (VAMS) to schedule and track vaccination appointments.
Part of VAMS was the automated VAERS follow up.
