Gotcha I thought when you said everything that Socrates did was through Plato, you meant Plato had taught Socrates and everything Socrates did was learned through Plato. But yes since Socrates did not write himself we are not sure what is directly him and what was added by Plato.
That's actually wrong. Socrates taught Plato and Plato taught Aristotle.
