Yep, it even spooked my Korean friend about 20 years ago because he's always running inside whenever it rains. I asked him why do he always run whenever it's raining and it's only water and he said, "There's acid in the rain and I don't want to burn up or die from it".

I thought he was the only person to think of that but I've also noticed a lot of Asian people running every time it rains, even if it's a sprinkle. Not to make a stereotype or anything, just my observation.

It's amazing that they don't even think maybe the acid in the rain would corrode everything like grass, trees, rocks, flowers, plants, etc? They even have a garden where they grow some vegetables for their meals... I wanted to point that out but back then, with the way they were thinking, I thought it would be hard for me to convince them rain isn't dangerous.
