Given how many times they’ve either blatantly lied or pushed false stories to sway public opinion, we know that WaPo isn’t really on the side of the people.

After reading the thread posted here about the Benitez ruling that featured a screenshot of their article on it, I realized something about their “Democracy Dies in Darkness” subtitle.

They want our democracy to die by keeping people in the dark. They despise those in the light who know what games they are playing.

This wasn’t just a marketing slogan. It’s their entire strategy. And they post it front and center because they know their readers won’t question them at all.
