The U.S. may have to completely destroy China later this year. In that case, a lot of critical items will not be available for a few years.
After China's destruction, I still wanted to enjoy laying on a pool floatie with a built in ice cooler and drink holder.
I bought two of them, just in case it takes several years to transfer pool floatie manufacturing to India instead. No sense in me suffering for China's mistake.
The move from China to India for manufacturing has been brought up in my international company. India is now where China was in 2000-ish and since India isn't retarded communist, would be a good place to help develop and buy from. Get them out of the call centers and working on developing a strong manufacturing industry.
I'm sure they would be more than happy to leave the call centers especially when they will get higher wages. I wonder how many call center workers end up as suicides?
Many Indian call centers have shuttered for good. Due to the extremely high volume of scammers in India. No trusts Indian call center employees anymore. The scammers have ruined that for the entire country.
An end-game of supply chain evolution. India and Bangladesh have become the anything-textile center, because everyone has their supply chain there.
Don't praise them too fast, though. There was a case of building collapse (Bangladesh?) a few years ago and the clothing manufacturer was found to be making clothes for major US brands. There will always be problems when labour is plentiful and not well educated. And Indians head Microsoft and Google, so remember, there are always bad guys and good guys, no matter which country they came from.
Good arguments. They have a huge country to run. Much better than CCP at least. Or even Pakistan.
Sounds like a solid reason
I thought that it only needs to be assembled in the us. Made from global materials but put together in the us.
