I get where you’re coming from, but there are more constructive ways to provide feedback without making fun of someone for getting a bit excited about seeing Q-related things become “real.” For some people, this is the only place they can be to get some “real news” and feel a sense of belonging. I just wanted to share that I do think kind, constructive feedback is always more successful in being helpful than mocking is (in this case, if you felt that strongly about it, something like “For future reference, I would recommend asking for a timestamp next time, to be able to verify your sources” would have been helpful, instead of making me feel like a dummy for commenting). For context, also, not everyone has the time or ability to do as much research as others. With my job situation at the moment, I currently only have time to look through the board, try to stay on top of what’s happening, and save things for later. I trusted OP on this because I had cross-checked it with other posts on the board. If he/she was the only person who posted about this, I probably would have asked more questions.
