The guy shoots the round of his life, has a 6-shot lead going into the final round, and then they make him withdraw because of a positive covid test, a test which is known to produce MANY false positives, and if not showing symptoms, you aren't contagious. He should sue the PGA!
absolutly. Wonder gow manu millions he just lost. Let alone the opportunity to win it.
I turned on the TV to watch it, and I didn't see his name as the leader, and I thought, "There's no way he could have blown a 6-shot lead this early in the round". Then I thought, "oh, maybe this is a re-broadcast from last year, due to some weather delay", but then I heard the cicadas, and no little window with a "weather delay" announcement, so I had to go online to find out what happened. Pretty sad how major sports have been corrupted by leftists.
asymptomatic = you aint got nuthin wrong with ya
How many times did we hear about false positives? Retake the test until you get a negative one and go back and finish out the tournament.
Exactly! If the guy had ANY sense of what is going on, he would have re-taken a test, and maybe even gotten a different tester. But it appears he was just assuming mainstream media and mainstream medical community had his best interests in mind :)
It just occurred to me, that the TV ratings would have been really low with a 6-shot margin going into the final round. I don't think it's a stretch that certain people made sure he tested positive so he would have to drop out, because there are now a half dozen people within a few shots of the leader, making for a more "compelling" final round of TV coverage.
Nearly ever super bowl is the same from what I've seen
