My guess is the photos and videos are faked or exaggerated for the same reason they made a big deal out of how he drank water or walked down a ramp. By creating drama like a middle school bully, they can distract from the narrative and make it about what he did rather than what he said. Because they are afraid of what he says and the power it has.
