This really isn't hopium. I can see how you may be a bit excited as the ball may be getting carried further forward a bit ( if this pans out ).
What this is going to require is a technical revolution of people that can actually fire off nodes and make this sort of network proliferate.

I have seen awesome projects come and go with little to no adoption because plebs are gona pleb and hard is hard and "muh userbase" is over in x platform.
So - If we see a ton of folks firing off and running nodes and learning Ubuntu and _actually learning how to maintain their own Skillsets and OPSEC this is just another tool that will come and go that looks like a clever way to monetize information.
archive.org is working avidly on foundation backed premises to archive all human knowledge etc and we also have Filecoin that is lookin to literally proliferate information AS MONEY - and it, too, is not seeing a heavy proliferation or use rate.
Look back at Facebook and Twitter. What did they do right? They made a UX and platform that moron 70-IQ low-energies could jump on. That's PRECISELY why you see Tiktok taking off. It's basically the moron Vine model of putting a video online with the easiest steps and compressing down consumption so morons eating too much junk food can consume yet-another-brainless feed on the shitter and say "lulz".
Look the premise of the network - that is interesting. The model? I have serious doubts but I will do my part and run nodes and push forward. Namely as I am a spiteful bastard that will do so to throw shade everywhere. Hell look at Mastodon - it's brilliant. The idea of Federaization of Social Media is a spot on and easy-to-follow model.
Keep in mind - We have Ron Watkins working on Thor and a few other projects that basically all replicate this matter.
We have one single fucking problem with all of it - AI. Crypto is a huge threat and we are seeing AI now that can stem lie cryptographic signatures - and until someone solves the root 13 DNS system it's all for not. We need a network that also self contains it's own DNS routes and mechanism .
