honest question -- What's the difference between a regular spiral and a pedo spiral?
Intent
It's the style and context used, for me. The spiral is insignificant to a pepper, for one, as another anon commented below. Secondly, it's often the style of the swirl. The pedo one is usually in blue/triangle and/or circular, counter-clockwise, with funky ridgy lines as above.
(Picture a child drawing a wobbly, backwards circle. Bam.)
