Thanks for posting this, it is something many of us have puzzled over since the January 6th Pence letter was released. Not unlike Governors Ducey and Kemp, V.P. Pence hid behind the excuse that his role was ceremonial and he was powerless to stand in the breach to stop the steal. Then President Trump’s January 6th comment that it would actually take more courage for Vice President Pence to do nothing added to the puzzle.
Some people interpreted President Trump’s comment to mean V.P. Pence’s actions that day were actually part of the plan. Almost five months to the day a different interpretation of what President Trump meant seems plausible. President Trump’s message to Pence probably sounded a lot like Nothing Can Stop What is Coming. The easiest path for Pence would have been to reject the contested slates of electors then. Instead he cast his lot with the DS, believing they could stop us from having the President we chose, and in doing so, stop what is coming.
