0bama is Sound and Fury (where “Fury” here is just puffery and strutting and eye rolls), Signifying Nothing.

He’s adopted the speech patterns of MLK (somewhat) and Malcolm X (a lot), and that works for him as long as he has crowds of adoring fans (here I include The Press), with cartoony stars for eyes, Ooooing and Ahhhing at him.

But his speeches are always always content free. And always rely on conventions like “everybody knows” level of “logic”, casual bigotry, veiled threats and smirks.
