I've moved around a bit and have gone through the process in 3 states, finally this last time I moved they recognized my last state's enhanced CCW and I didn't have to take yet another class, which was surprising for a blue / purple swing state. Definitely need Constitutional country wide.

Stay in S. Dakota for 30 days and get residency status and get a concealed carry permit, no class. You don't actually have to live there. One night to get residency status, 30 days for the gun permit.
