I used to be fairly liberal... I think that many young people start out that way. They realize there is something wrong with the system but are unable to get a grasp on it. So these Dems come out and say you are right the system is f-ed and here are some radical things we can do to fix it. That coupled with the fact RINO or basically any of the old guard weren't doing us any favors either can mean that Dems stay Dems if they stop paying attention past the sales pitch. What turned me was Obummer said he wanted to get rid of lobbyists during his campaign he was elected and then.... never heard that again ever... So that is what I think is going on with the older libs. It's just a guess.

Now I don't understand what happened with Trump. All my old friends rage against the machine and all that... what actually happens when you rage against the machine? Simple, logical, it rages back. I don't know why they can't see he was the guy that we all were asking for.
