You should be specific ... if you saw the person on TV you might not recognize them.
They are not hard to miss in real life ... if people saw more of these people in real life, they'd understand why others think there is something wrong with them mentally. TV makes them look like they're nice, kind, cuddly, and mentally healthy.
^this - Normalizing this shit because they're "on our side" is the equivalent of the old argument that gays just want to be able to get married too... fast forward and we now have tranny story time.
Overall, I couldn't care less what adults want to do with themselves. What pisses me off is :
1> You cannot have a rational conversation with anyone about it being a mental condition anymore since they're now a protected class and questioning it can land you on the unperson list. A little therapy may help many of these people, but nobody is interested in help ... they want to exploit sick people for political power (i.e. the ability to call us all sorts of ist-phobes).
2> They're trying to convince impressionable kids that this kind of life is a normal, healthy way of life (it is anything but that) and that if a kid even looks at a dress that they should immediately be put on hormone therapy and be scheduled for genital mutilation ... preferably at the youngest age possible.
3> Saying anything about the behavior of the more "flamboyant" ones can land you on the unperson list. You are just supposed to accept that these "men" wearing nothing but two strips of leather and a couple hundred dildos on a public street is the new normal ... failure to comply with that line of thinking makes you an unperson.
The entire homosexual "marriage" thing could have been handled without dividing the country (it should be clear to anyone with a functioning brain cell that the DS doesn't care for unity ... Communists knew this issue would help to destabilize the USA). If the word "marriage" was removed from anything related to government and replaced with the word "civil union", then almost everyone would have been happy. If any two people want to call themselves "married" and you disagree that they are in fact married for whatever reason you choose, so what ... that's all in the social arena and out of the purview of government ... all government would have to recognize is "civil unions", and nobody is a special case.
However, what they did was give the Supreme Court carte blanche when it comes to redefining words. It made government into the authority on what defines marriage. That was a ridiculously hazardous, stupid, and shortsighted thing to do. All it causes are "bake the cake, bigot, and pay your $250,000 fine" scenarios that the tyrants love to exploit. Moreover, the next time a word needs redefined, say freedom or liberty, our SC can use the whole homosexual marriage case as "precedence". Not good ... not good at all.
I must be the choir because you are preaching to me :-)
I figured I was ... I just hope others see it :-) .
You're right, on tv you might not recognize them as trans.
Never saw that person IRL, but out of all trans, they are one that might require a second glance to spot.
(That's not negating the mental illness factors and all, something that this individual acknowledges on some level)
