I think they definitely "talk" to each other, but it's complicated. It's a little funny when you think about it, but both sides are sometimes threatening each other through what look like nothing but cute puppy articles.

Something as simple as "A bloodhound killed a python in Australia!" could be a comm for a lot more.

In the past the DS infiltrated, took over, spread misinfo, and demoralized the other side until they were decimated. That's what you witness shills attempting to do here a lot. They were very successful at it on the Donald. It was done to the Tea Party, the NRA, ect. They burrow inside and destroy it from within.

However, in my opinion, it's actually the White Hats that have wormed deeply inside the DS own comms that they're the ones spreading the misinformation and demoralizing the other side. The DS seemed to try and alter it's comms with the Uncle Joey stuff, but that fell flat on twitter. (Bots and shills are way down since Frank Speech).

To me it's the White Hats giving the DS a taste of its own medicine.
