RE: 2/3s vs. 1/3, certain theories about the tipping point would indicate that even 1/3 is well past the tipping point required. And of course, the concept of "tipping point" is that essentially, nothing can stop what is coming after the tipping point is reached.
While I get the sense that this may well be true in the states, in my home country of Australia, I think we are still a long way off from 1/3. It's downright discouraging how many simply go along with the BS, or seem to not simply care.
Understandable, because we NEVER had our revolutionary war. Never really had to fight for the freedom we thought we had.
