If everyone remembers all the digging around drop 4414 shortly after the election steal, it’s the one with the RED1-6 then USSS, then at the end CASTLE_ROCK.
So everyone went digging to try and figure out what Castle Rock was. The movie studio, the movie sets, all of that.
So watching stand by me last night, I never realized it was set in a town called Castle Rock, Oregon.
So I checked to see if the town was real or just fictional. It turns out that it is a real town in the “Tillamook” region of Oregon.
So i got curious as to what “Tillamook” meant.
In the Chinook language it means “People of the village” but it’s also given the Coast Salish term meaning “Land of many waters”.
I don’t know if anyone has followed this path yet or not, or if it’s even relevant. But it struck my as odd that Castle Rock is in the “Land of many waters” and we were told to watch the water
Just watched it last night with my boys.
Population of Castle Rock is mentioned in the movie as 1281.
