Its so interesting that from an evolutionary standpoint it made sense to be cohesive with the tribe and if you were ostracized you likely died and didnt have progeny, leading us to this situation where it was advantageous to go along. Now they are using that byproduct of our programming against us, and only the strong can break out of it.
