Someone did that on this site a few months ago. He tried a few different types of black lights before he found one that showed a few fluorescent ink splatters on the ballot. But it did not show anything like what it in this picture. So I think the trick is to figure out exactly what kind of light is needed.
Right. Any fake ballots might look real to the naked eye, but shine a special light on them and voila: forgeries!

It might only be a certain frequency of light that reveals it?
Any currency UV lamp should do. I don't know of any special lights for such stuff other than UV. UV LED should work too.

That’s a good thought, it would keep the cheaters(counterfeiters) from getting it real easy.
