If it has an ad promoting it, it is probably gonna lead to a medical dependency scam where you're on it permanently otherwise your symptoms will get worse when you get off it.
If it is a medication that has been around longer than 50 years and is on the list of essential medicines despite not being available by prescription or retail sale -- it probably works.
If it is good enough for a thoroughbred prize-winning multi-million dollar race horse, it is good enough for a human.
If you can buy it in a store for less than a burger, the burger is probably more dangerous.
If studies pre 2010 say it is safe and studies post 2016 say it is dangerous, it is probably a golden panacea that was taken off the market by big-pharma lobbyists.
If a thorough Google search doesn't tell you how it was made, it can be made in a home lab for cheap.
Who holds the patent? If it is one of the big 4 pharma companies, and it isn't for sale, you know they strong-armed someone to ensure they had control. If there is no patent, it probably means it is naturally occurring and wild animals eat it every day and they are absolutely fine.
