Yes only the gay kids could get the unicorn cupcakes. Then she called the boy a "straight dick" kid because he wanted one. This is tragic that this "woman" is called a "teacher".
How did you and your kids fair with socializing, especially the teen years? We’ve been homeschooling for 1 year now, simply to keep masks off our kids, and debating continuing it. We’ve recently moved to a much smaller conservative Texas town, with plenty of land to stretch out on. Our children are young, elementary age, and as much of a benefit I see in homeschooling, that’s my only hesitation.
I agree with the social interactions and it is the main factor on sending them back. I would not have even considered them going back to public school where we were living previously. I’m open to it where we currently live, but still hesitant. I’ve looked into private schools here and can’t float 3 kids tuition. I learned the districts in this area dropped the mask requirements for students immediately once rescinded, and that gave me some hope. But not enough. I’ve lost faith in our public school system, and I’m not just gonna give that back without merit.
When i was in school, if a teacher talked to the kids that way they'd be out on their ass in no time.

SIXTH GRADE?? This is so incredibly wrong on so very many levels.
This has got to stop, NOW.
100% agree about homeschooling.
Silver lining! A sixth grade young man had the moral fortitude to stand up to bullying by an authority figure. Good for him!

Why does the left always try to separate people?
Didja notice the kool-aid on the desk. Unicorn cupcakes and kool-aid. Yup.
