Jesus declared the first Pope, honey.
And
No they were not. Those did not exist yet.
So again I ask...when did you say the Bishops agreed on Holy Writ?
Those were Catholic Bishops.
And Jesus declared Simon Bar Jonah the first Pope. He even renamed him to PETER which is the translation of the word ROCK because upon this ROCK he said he would build His church.
And again, these are the men who brought you the Bible. They were all Catholic.
"Catholics are hiding things about the Bible" lol. It's a Catholic book. The Holy Writ was a agreed upon by Catholics. It was brought to the world by the Catholic leaders. The Catholic church was established by Jesus.
Flynn is a Catholic. Melania is Catholic. Bannon is Catholic. Trump asked to keep the Lady of Fatima (CATHOLIC) statue that the CATHOLIC Priest brought when the White House was exercised of demons. Melania refused to live in the WH until a CATHOLIC Priest did an exorcism. Q posts Vigano letters...Vigano is a CATHOLIC Archbishop.
You will never hear about Satanists stealing Methodist grape juice and croutons.
Satan goes where the power is.

Which is why the Freemasons target the Catholic church and Papacy.
Q has called your attention to the Freemasons, no?
Uh oh!

:)
Okay. So you are playing word games with the equivocation between "catholic" lower-case (meaning for all mankind) and "Catholic" upper-case (meaning of and by the Church of Rome). That is grade school sophistry.
referring to Matthew 16:
verse 16--And Simon Peter answered and said, "Thou art the Christ, the Son of the Living God."
verse 17--And Jesus answered and said unto him, "Blessed art thou, Simon bar Jonah; for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven." ("it" is stressed and refers to what Simon Peter said, which was that Jesus was the Christ, the Son of the Living God)
verse 18--"And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." ("this rock" continues the reference to the "it" of the previous verse, which is the Godhood of Jesus)
This is a common error of understanding. It makes more sense to think that Jesus would want to build a church upon the truth of his being, rather than on a frail human who denied him three times (not a good start). Peter later lead the church of Jerusalem, but had no direct successors that I know of. Such bishops that were confirmed were probably endowed with the Apostolic succession, which was not unique to Peter. No one was made a Pope, as the only intercessor between man and God was to be Jesus. No church was built upon Peter.
As for the Freemasons, I reserve an open mind, but I find the claims to be inconsistent with the caliber of men who were freemasons (e.g., George Washington). An aversion to the Catholic Church no doubt comes from the Church's willingness to condemn people to death for supposed crimes of heresy and blasphemy, and the tendency of the Pope to think he was God on Earth. (Full disclosure: I am a Lutheran...who loved the church, but could not reconcile its doctrine, dogma, and behavior with the clear language of the Bible, though he tried as hard as he could. More faithful than Peter.)
No, it's Catholic with a big C and Peter had successors.
Check out "apostolic succession"
Jesus RENAMED Simon Bar Jonah to Kephr. It's not a common name for the time period. It's translated to ROCK and UPON THAT ROCK Jesus built his church.
George Washington died a Catholic and was trained by Jesuit tutors hired by his parents.
COPE. HARDER.
You are deliberately missing "it". The "it" was not a person. It was what Peter alleged about Jesus. Very self-serving to think the church was built upon Peter, but very strange that the Pauline epistles to the church had little to do with Peter (in fact, nothing to do with Peter). Peter was not the guiding light of the outlying churches. That was Paul. In fact, Paul was the guiding light for the early church of Rome (see the epistle to the Romans). But I no longer expect you to be rational about this, since you haven't been.
Right from the mouth of your Savior:
And Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jona! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven. And I tell you, you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the powers of death shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”
