So today was a new one. Got into a conversation with a cousins friend about media deception and found out he's hugely into conspiracies. What I didn't expect is he's actually become a staunch centerist because hes effectively been black pilled into being skeptical of all things. He thinks trump was just another in a long line of conmen that only care about taking care of "their own". I tried to break down his logic but it didn't help. Absolutely the weirdest conversation I've ever had. He knows what I know but refuses to "believe" anything. He at least admits it's very unhealthy mentally and that's why he tends to keep that stuff to himself. Never tried to redpill somebody before that didn't need to be explained shit only for them to still not budge an inch and disagree with my takes.
My best friend grew up on a farm. She is a down to earth pragmatist and smart as a tack. She despises Bill Gates and knows he hung out with Epstein, and she thinks they are all a bunch of corrupt weasels. Including Trump. She thinks the vaccine is great, and is hot and cold on masks. She loves Fauci and thinks he is science. Yes I know this is inconsistent.
Of all my friends, this would be the one I would think I had the best shot at red-pilling. But alas, she watches fake news and late night talk shows. If you talk about Trump she gets angry like a Pavlovian response.
I think she is in a state where the media has programmed her into believing things that conflict with each other. Such as Bill Gates is corrupt and evil, but vaccines are wonderful. The way her anger flairs up if Trump or DeSantis is mentioned, it seems like a programmed response to me.
I have a similar story. We met long time friends for happy hour last night. Super conservative, smart, reasonably well informed, yet still both got the "vax". I was just getting on a roll about Fraudci and emergency use authorizations when I stopped and asked if they were vaxxed, not expecting for a second that they were. Hard to have a convo about side effects, including death, with someone who says "well I watch Fox News and I didn't hear anything about that". The fact that she had a serious blood clot, that I now know was post-vax, break off and lodge in her pulmonary artery didnt even give her pause. She's lucky to be alive. For now.
I know I have to tread carefully to not lose my friend, but I think this Professor of Viral Immunology at the 4th most prestigious university in Canada does a good job of explaining that the vaccine is not safe.
Yes!!!!!! What is it with people and getting irate at the mere mention of Trump. Its like many are suffering under some sort of mass hypnosis and whomever hypnotized the gave them all "Trump" as a trigger word to initiate violent outbursts.
I try to have discussions with some of them, and if i discuss things without mentioning Trump himself it seems like a productive conversation. Like talking about all the great stuff that he did without ever actually mentioning Trump himself, the conversation seems to go ok and you almost feel like your reaching them. But the moment you say it was Trump who did that or Trump who did this, it almost always results in a sudden and childish tantrum or outburst from some grown ass people.
All the liberals in my life absolutely hate Trump. With a passion. Yet they can never seem to quite pinpoint or articulate what it is they hate about him? Occasionally they'll say some bullshit msm talking point thats easily proven false. But they refuse to listen, they refuse to research. If its not in their curated presentation of reality its not worthy of their time nor research.
Wow, this is exactly what I am seeing my family. They are totally confused but still filled with hate. I would like to know how MSM is programming these people. They use the 4 am talking points all the time so I know it has something to do with the actual words they are saying but for the life of me I can't figure out how they got to people who intelligent but can't seem to think for themselves anymore.
I’ve got a great line—What if it’s true? Tell him to think about that statement for a while. If he tries that, he’ll start to see the mental gymnastics he must go through in order for it not to be true. It breaks through the programming because now it’s not just fun or a theory, you’re actually testing it to see if it is real.
That's worked very well against the non red pilled but homie is legit black pilled at this point. It's interesting to see the results of a demoralization campaign with my own eyes and ears. He knows what a limited hang out is but isn't willing to say when they begin/end or if they are/aren't. My approach has always been to ask questions to understand their perspective to know which angles of attack would work best. When all you get in response is some generic "yeah but how do you KNOW" then that person is pretty much gone. His only care is his providing for his family and protecting his children. He asked about what "real evidence" exists for Xiden's pedo tag and I told him about the nipple pinch and the little girl who he made grope his dick while telling the adults to "look up for the camera!" I made it very clear that the only way this bizarro world makes any kind of sense is if the pedo blackmail is real and forces all of these people to act bizarrely brazenly against their own constituents best interests. I honestly think I ended the conversation at the right time so he could stew on that since protecting the children is literally the only thing he cares about. My success rate with people has been pretty good and I think it's because of my choice to go with understanding rather than attacks/belittlement. I gotta wonder if helping my sister raise her kids is what helped me gain the patience to deal with these NPCs. Even tonight at a family get together I bit my tongue when some low hanging fruit was trotted out but held firm when something legit came up and was worth exploring. I've come to understand that many of these NPCs have got 80% of the story right but it's that %20 of bs they still believe in because it's what they've been told over and over their entire lives. That same cousin's wife is a liberal but didn't argue against most of my historical facts and she's actually well educated compared to my manual labor ass. These are the things that give me hope.

If you start at 6:52, it gets right to the heart of the matter.
We are also frustrated with our conservative friends who got the vaxx. It’s inconsistent but everyone isn’t at the same place I guess.

I believe it is very subtle long term conditioning by the media.
And not by accident. I think they apply very well researched techniques to get this result.
Like distrusting most scientists on the government dole, but believing everything NASA says.

I believe they use very sophisticated and subtle techniques. Such as pauses, facial expressions, and careful word choices. Basically mind hacks.
