I'm sorry but you used "irregardless" in your post. That is not a word. The term is regardless.
I just wanted to give you this tip. Nothing invalidates what a person says more than when they use a non-word or malaprop in their comment or speech.
I am probably just as guilty of misspellings and poor grammar myself but I thought your comment had merit and I just wanted to share this with you.
Now I am saying this knowing that with the decline in people's awareness for all things, that anyone would even know this is probably pretty low, but thought I would share anyway.
Well written and helpful. I am fully distracted when I see this or other major spelling errors. This person may not take your words to heart, but they should. It is important.
The level of literacy on GA is truly deplorable and weakens the overall power of the site.
Our thought, especially our alalytical thought, is mostly verbal and if we are not expressing ourselves accurately it is because we're not thinking accurately.
Inaccurate expression comes from muddy, inaccurate thought.
Weakening our thinking is a primary goal of the cabal. One of their primary methods is to destroy respect for the subtleties of grammar and punctuation without which our written language becomes progressively less meaningful.
PS - I'm old and remember my father railing against "irregardless".
My mother would read me the riot act for using both of those words. We were poor but she would always say "there was NO excuse for ignorance".
I will admit some of my posts can get a little sloppy, especially when I am frustrated about something. However, I can still hear my mother's voice scolding me in the back of my mind when I do.
Have pity for me - trying to learn Greek in a Cretan village where they use a local dialect (different in every village), different words compared with mainland Greece and have little regard for spelling or grammar.

Where's Freddy when we really need him?

Well, Hell! You are right. I guess the dictionaries declared open season for poor grammar. Apparently nothing is sacred anymore.
I guess they had to since so many people use it improperly.
Damn crazy world now. I guess we all have to lower our standard apparently.
I stopped believing in indoctrinaries when the poop emoji won most popular word of the year.
Nooooooo. No. No. No..... this didn’t really happen.....
(I can’t bring myself to look it up to validate).
The dumbing down of America.

"Can you please write it down for me?"
"Write???"

That's why I don't use Grammarly.
Think a little harder, each syllable, you’re almost there.
You are wrong, and also a sarcastic twat.
Ahhh, I see it now. KEK fair enough.
I must be tired because I am giggling at your response. (sarcastic twat). If you do not mind, I am going to use it very soon.
It's non-standard, but has been used for over 200 years. First seen in print in 1795.
