I was rebuilding a UAL 737 Flight Deck (cockpit) at a Repair Station in Greensboro. First thing I noticed was the constant sound of rivet guns on the hangar floor had gone silent, and it wasn’t break time. I stuck my head out the Pilot’s window and saw the female UAL Rep go into the office, face buried in her Blackberry. Nobody was working so I headed for the avionics shop to see wtf? TV’s had been setup and we watched. Then we went home...
