My eldest daughter went to Walmart today and while there had noticed many of the shelves were empty. She had worked many years for Walmart (She is a Lowes employee now) and knew a lot of the employees. She asked about the empty shelves and was told that the stock was in the back and would not be put out. Okay, my daughter thought this was kind of strange so I am asking if anyone else had noticed something up with Walmart?

I know a guy who worked security for Wal-Mart.
They have facial recognition technology at EVERY door and register.
If you were arrested for theft at any Wal-Mart store, your photos go into the system. If you walk into any Wal-Mart store after that, the system immediately alerts security. They system shows store security your photo and details about your prior thefts.
If you think the different stores don't share info... think again. Steal from Wal-Mart and see how fast Target or Academy of other stores also get alerts using their own facial recognition technology. ?
That's why you see people being re-arrested so frequently.
Wow, I did not know that. Well, my first thought was I'm glad I'm not a criminal, followed by the thought of this technology can easily be used on anybody, not just criminals. Really brings home the meaning of Big Brother's watching you.
Shit, I better wear three masks!
Lol I just trigger lost prevention to follow me constantly. Never stole but I have adhd and I pace while my wife shops and I touch everything. I never really thought about it till someone at my job flipped out at me saying I was making him nervous that I was going to stab him. So I can see why I trigger those damn AI.
